The Center for Digital Storytelling – Individuals posting their own stories of their experiences of community, personal identity and family.  Done with video and voice over the stories, be they funny or poignant are always interesting. This site offers workshops for story development for adults and children, resource and training information and links to related sites.

Another digital storytelling site with personal stories of life challenges, growth and the importance of community.  Some stories in Spanish or English.   A meeting place for people interested in learning about or expanding their connections with others using digital storytelling to promote positive change in communities and organizations.

A site dedicated to providing resources, workshops and additional information for those people seeking to use storytelling in business and corporate applications.  There is information about an annual workshop presented in Washington D.C.

The site of the League for the Advancement of New England Storytelling, a nonprofit group supporting storytelling throughout the six New England states and New York.  Has a good newsletter, annual conference and listing of tellers in New England and beyond.

The International Storytelling Center seeks to inspire people to tell, listen to and use storytelling for positive change.  They host the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN the first weekend of October and offers a variety of resources.

A national project dedicated to collecting the stories of Americans and sharing them with the world.  Archives of the collected stories can be accessed and it is possible to make a reservation to record your own interview with someone you know.  Copies of all the stories collected are being housed in the Library of Congress. Episodes of this program are often broadcast on local affiliate stations of National Public Radio.

Similar to the Story Corps project it is a collection of the stories of the people of Boston, MA.  A full range of personal experiences, views of life and stories to make you think and look at life from a different place.

The national membership organization for storytellers also based in Jonesborough, TN. This site provides an extensive list of storytelling events and festivals scheduled throughout the United States as well as a list of performing storytellers available.

The website for the National Association of Black Storytellers, an organization which promotes the art of Black Storytelling as an art form which embodies the history, heritage and culture of African Americans.  They provide resource information, and an extensive list of affiliate organizations throughout the United States, information about youth programs, member storytellers, an annual festival and conference.
